Grandma's Hands

At the end of June 2008 Grandma Kiser had a stroke on the left side of her brain, which has left her permanently incapacitated on her right side. In some ways this is a blessing in that she is left handed, unfortunately she has regained very limited use of her right side.

In May of that year we as a family ended up visiting her prior to the stroke, probably one of the last family members to visit. While looking at picture we took I became intrigued by Grandma's hands. Here are a couple of the photos that I took.

I cropped this picture from a larger group picture that we took with Grandma.
I cropped this picture from a larger picture of Grandma, Taylor, and Heather looking at a caterpillar that Taylor found

(Updated 9/9/9...Grandma is left handed, not right handed.)
